Introduction

DYOF-J is an oleophilic fluid-loss reducer for oil-based and synthetic-based drilling fluids (OBM/SBM), produced from humic-acid derivatives with a rigid aromatic core and long hydrophobic chains. The product is a black, free-flowing powder with controlled fineness and is designed for high-temperature applications up to 140°C (284°F). It is asphalt-free and does not generate colloidal solids, which helps reduce screen plugging, improve solid-phase removal and maintain high drilling rates.
