Introduction

DYGEL Series is a high-temperature organophilic clay (amine-treated bentonite) designed for oil-based mud (OBM) and synthetic-based mud (SBM) systems. It functions as a primary viscosifier / gellant to build yield point (YP) and gel strengths, improving suspension and carrying capacity for weighting materials and cuttings.

• DYGEL-H — up to 210°C (410°F); high-temperature grade for demanding OBM/SBM intervals

Recommended Treatment

• Typical treatment range: 0.5–3.0%(optimize based on base oil, solids loading, desired YP/gel, and shear history).
  
• Addition: Pre-disperse into the oil phase with proper shear; use per your OBM/SBM mixing procedure.
