Introduction

GP-55 is a light-weight additive for oil-well cement slurries, based on ultrafine silica (microsilica / silica fume). It is used to reduce slurry density while helping maintain slurry stability and improving the microstructure of the set cement by filling micro-pores. In addition, GP-55 contributes to higher strength development and improved impermeability, supporting long-term well integrity in lightweight cementing designs.
